Kiro for Students Terms & Conditions 2026

From March 16, 2026 9:00:00 am PST until discontinued by Amazon Web Services (“AWS”), students can get Kiro Pro for one year for free if they successfully verify using SheerID. Terms and conditions apply.

By participating, you agree to the promotional offer’s terms and conditions.

From March 16, 2026 9:00:00 am PST until discontinued by AWS, successfully verify your AWS Builder ID account, used to access Kiro, on SheerID to receive 1 year of free Kiro distributed as 1000 Kiro credits (“Promotional Credits”), each month, for 12 months (“Promotion Period”).
Must be a student currently enrolled at California State University – Fullerton, University of Waterloo, New York University, Georgia Institute of Tech, Carnegie Mellon University, Arizona State University, California Polytechnic State University, University of Chicago, University of Texas – Austin, or University of Toronto (“Participating Universities”). Valid student email required for verification.
Must have an AWS Builder ID account created with a valid student email.
Offer is only valid for residents of the United States and Canada, 18 years and older.
You will receive notice of your promotion status at the email address associated with your AWS Builder ID.
Failure to provide complete or accurate information may delay or prevent offer fulfillment. Kiro credits will be directly deposited to the provided account after verification and will activate upon provision. Unused Kiro credits do not roll over month to month. You can view your credit usage in your account.
Once your Promotion Period ends, your Kiro usage will automatically switch to the free Kiro tier. You may only receive Kiro credits on a monthly basis under this promotion. You are limited to the Promotion Credits and may not purchase additional Kiro credits during the Promotion Period.
Offer limited to 1 subscription per student. If you previously applied for this promotion and were rejected, and your eligibility status has changed, you can re-apply if you meet all of the current requirements.
Offer may not be combined with other offers.
AWS reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time.
Offer is non-transferable and may not be resold.
If you violate any of these terms and conditions, the offer will be invalid.

Your information is handled in accordance with the AWS Privacy Notice.
Amazon Web Services, Inc. will be the AWS Contracting Party under your agreement to use Kiro.
