Kiro Enterprise profiles in AWS GovCloud (US) use a separate model catalog from profiles in commercial AWS Regions. Availability can also differ between AWS GovCloud (US-East) and AWS GovCloud (US-West).

Cost is relative to Auto's 1.0x credit baseline, even though Auto is not available in AWS GovCloud (US). NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super 120B has a 32K maximum output.
* GPT-5.6 uses OpenAI and Amazon Bedrock's two-tier context pricing model. Requests up to 272K tokens use the listed rate; requests over 272K tokens are billed at twice that rate (Terra 4.4x, Luna 2.2x).
AWS GovCloud (US) access is available through Kiro Enterprise. Sign in using AWS IAM Identity Center or an external identity provider. Individual sign-in methods such as GitHub, Google, and AWS Builder ID are not available.
Auto is not available for GovCloud profiles. Select one of the supported models directly from the model selector. See Authentication for sign-in requirements and minimum supported IDE and CLI versions.
Your content remains stored in the Region where your Kiro profile was created. Inference requests stay within AWS GovCloud (US). Profiles in AWS GovCloud (US-East) route inference through Amazon Bedrock in AWS GovCloud (US-West), and all cross-Region communication is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher.

Model availability in Kiro does not by itself indicate FedRAMP High or DoD IL-4/5 authorization. Only models explicitly listed within the Amazon Bedrock service scope carry those authorizations. Check Amazon Bedrock models in scope for FedRAMP and DoD CSP SRG for the current model-specific status.
