Monitor usage

View as Markdown

You can watch the pool in two places in the Kiro console. The Credit sharing tab on the Dashboard shows usage and projections. The Credits tab under Access management shows balances, costs, and additional credit purchases.

Before you begin

Your role needs permission to view pool balances and usage. The full Kiro administrator policy includes those actions. It also permits credit purchases, usage-limit changes, pool-member changes, and other Kiro administration tasks.

Monitor the shared pool

Open Dashboard and choose Credit sharing.

The tab shows Monthly credits used, Additional credits used, and Total credits used this month, along with Days left this month and Avg credits used/day (shown per week or per month when you change the granularity). The projection switches between Daily, Weekly, and Monthly projected consumption, shows Monthly credits run out, and states Credits are projected to run out on a date based on current usage.

Review credits and costs

Open Access management > Credit sharing and choose the Credits tab. The overview shows:

  • Total credits (Monthly + additional)
  • Monthly credits left and Monthly credits used
  • Users sharing credits
  • Profile usage limits
  • Renews in: time until monthly credits renew at the start of the next billing cycle
  • Monthly cost

Review additional credit purchases

Under Additional credits, the Credits tab shows Credit count left, Credits used, and how many credits are expiring this month. Choose View credit purchase details to see the Use by date, Cost, and One-time purchase type of each purchase.

Review user activity

For per-user activity across Kiro, see Viewing per-user activity.

Next step

If the pool is projected to run out before the billing cycle ends, go to Add credits. To control how many credits each user can use, go to Manage usage limits.
